Store Credit

Store credit settings allow you to offer store credit as a resolution option for returns. This feature is available for Shopify and Magento platforms and can help retain customer value while providing flexible resolution options.

Store Credit Configuration

Setting	Description
Enable store credit	Turn on store credit functionality for your store.
Unsupported payment methods	Specify payment methods that should not be eligible for store credit refunds.

Store Credit Incentives

Configure incentives to encourage customers to choose store credit over traditional refunds:

Setting	Description
Incentive type	Choose between fixed amount or percentage-based incentives.
Fixed amount incentive	Offer a specific bonus amount when customers choose store credit.
Percentage incentive	Offer a percentage bonus based on the return value.
Maximum incentive	Set a cap on the maximum incentive amount that can be offered.

How Store Credit Works

When store credit is enabled, customers can choose to receive their refund as store credit instead of a traditional refund. The system automatically converts the return amount to store credit and applies any configured incentives. Store credit can be used for future purchases and is tracked separately from regular refunds.
